We’ve been talking about this for a while and finally – my deer are hanging at my favourite cafe in London – Scandinavian kitchen.
They are free to view and surrounded by lovely people and buns throughout April and maybe a bit beyond – pop by if you’re around!

One of my main passions in professional sense is actually lighting design (you’d think deer, wouldn’t you?). Yet I am not employed as a lighting designer yet which combined with Goldsmiths education makes me do some weird things.
This is a deer for a lighting designer who I met at a lighting design party. We had a conversation involving deer, Eames chairs and my crazy CV.

In Swedish it’s called Alla hjärtans dag – All Hearts’ Day which works better for me than St Valentine’s day.
A deer I have drawn just before going to my friends to celebrate Christmas. Then it was part of our secret Santa game and now the deer lives in Clapham.
Deer are at the highest point of popularity during Christmas period and I wanted to reflect on that by showing a deer constrained in Xmas ribbons with a background in spring/summer colours.

The main aim was to explore the possibilities to overcome size limitations of hard covers of books which as I have found can be rather problematic to recycle.
It’s getting dark just after 3pm, the temperature gets lower and lower, but London is full of Christmas lights, fairs and this particular feeling of something good approaching.
